Persson and his team quickly picked up the pace, and both teams were fighting for the one round lead, but eventually UNiTED drew the longest straw, finalizing the half-time score at 8-7. Moving onto side change, fnatic immediately picked up five rounds before UNiTED came back into the game and secured three, with steady help from the Russian national team leader Dmitri "hooch" Bogdanov. The teams continued to race towards the ending scoreline, with UNiTED who stood the closest at 14-13, seeing a breath-taking defuse by Bogdanov. fnatic finally pulled out a three rounds win, ending the match at 16-14.
